PBS: Protective Bio System



Surface Preparation: Remove all loose rust, dirt and scale by most economical method, i.e. hand scraping, high pressure washing or waterblasting. PBS will promote descaling of rust not being removed properly.

Waterblasting standard DW 2 of STG

Guideline 2222 is surface preparation standard desired.



Application: Spray on with either conventional or airless equipment to a wet film thickness of 150 micron or 6 mil min. first.

Leave botton and all walk on and move about areas unsprayed for safety.

Wait 12 hours and spray complete area with second coat of 150 micron or 6 mil. Ventilate before, during and after application.

PBS can not be floatcoatet.

At cold climates heating may be required, use approved practices, such as heater bands,in-line-heaters or hot rooms.

Airless pumps recommended are WIWA 66:1 and or WIWA PHOENIX 52:1 with a 0.019” or larger tip and a 1/4” product hose and 1/4" wip end plus mastic type gun. The use of a heating stick is recommended.

Make sure pump’s intake is 1 inch dia. or larger.



Clean Up and Removal: Clean up with mineral spirits, diesel. Personal clean up with soap and water.



Caution: Do not use near open flame.
