RUST AND CORROSION WHICH ATTACKS WIRE ROPES INTERNALLY

This 7/8 “ inch (22mm) Dia. Special wire rope,

with plastic-coated core, is only 8 months old,

rusted through from lack of lubrication.

It had to be replaced.

Description

(H.D) S-Z-C / WIRE LUBE supersedes the conventional Lubricants. The penetration is so

good that it infuses the rust, covers the individual wires of each strand with a protecting

coat, penetrates and influses the core. Thus there is a continuous reconservation of the

goods. The conservation stays flexible in the temperature range of (-60 to 300°C). Due to

the fact that the product is non cracking and does not separate itself from the surface, the coated

goods with S-Z-C stay supple and resistent to a friction heat up to 300° C.

Ideally applied to all kinds of deck-gear with roller-bearings etc.

Technical Data

- Type : Modified petroleum sulphonate with molybdenum disulphite

- Solid : 98,2% according to ASTM D 23 69-73

- Density : 1,2 kg/cm3, Flash point 280° C

- Resivtivity : Against salt – fresh and industrial water, acid polluted air, e.t.c.
